Vampyres

Rakousko

Originally, we had a deal with old Dracula himself. He was supposed to stop by and balance out all that love with a tiny bit of darkness – you know, Yin and Yang and all that. But then some anniversary chopping-and-quartering thing got in the way, or whatever vampires have in their calendars, and he said he could not make it.

Naturally, we were already properly losing it. Luckily, he passed us a contact for some colleagues from Linz, Austria. He said: “young blood,” stake to stake, and suddenly we had Vampyres (AT).

Psychedelic goth-punk, massive riffs, a bass engine that keeps the whole thing roaring, and a voice that starts boiling your blood sous-vide style. Music deeply rooted in the seventies, but dirty, dark and fully alive right here and now.

Anyone who was at the winter Stone Smoker knows that Vampyres are not just a concert. They are a meeting between you and your darkest self. And anyone who does not know yet will never forget it afterwards.

So if you want to make someone “happy”, do not hesitate and buy them a ticket. Your mother-in-law, for example.
