Cashless festival!
Stone Smoker Festival will operate as a cashless festival. This means you will not pay with cash on site, but with a festival wristband with an NFC chip provided by NFCtron.
At the entrance, you will receive a wristband that will be used for payments at bars, food stands, and other sales points. Payment is fast, simple, and clear — just tap your wristband on the payment device.
How does it work?
Before the festival or on site, you top up credit on your festival wristband.
When paying at a vendor, you simply tap your chipped wristband on the device. The vendor will always show you the amount to be charged, and after the payment you will also see your current balance.
This means you do not need to deal with cash, coins, or searching for your card inside the festival grounds. Everything will run through one festival wristband.
Topping up credit
Credit can be topped up through the NFCtron system. Exact information about online top-ups will be added before the festival, so stay tuned.
We recommend topping up your credit in advance, so you do not have to deal with queues after arrival and can head straight for beer, food, or merch.

In the app, you can load your chip and track:
current balance,
payment history,
spending overview,
option to refund unused credit after the festival.
Refund of unused credit
After the festival, you can have any unused credit refunded back to your bank account through the NFCtron mobile app or through the chip’s web overview.
With NFCtron, the standard period for submitting a refund request is usually 14 days after the end of the event. Unused credit will not be refunded in cash at the festival site.
Returning the wristband
Before you leave, we would appreciate it if you returned the wristband at the entrance — in the same tent where ticket check-in takes place.
This helps us reduce costs, cut down on waste, and make the festival a little more sustainable.
